Your information is used solely to operate and improve the VDT platform:

Account management: To create, maintain, and authenticate your account.
Payment processing: To manage your subscription through Stripe.
Transactional email: To send account-related communications such as enrollment confirmations, password resets, and program updates. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
Waiver compliance: To maintain records of your agreement to our terms and waiver as required for legal and operational purposes.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

VDT does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service with access to your data is Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles all payment transactions and is subject to its own privacy policy and security standards. We do not use third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking services.

5. Cookies and Tracking

VDT uses session cookies only — these are necessary to keep you logged in while you use the platform. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics tools. No data is collected for behavioral profiling or ad targeting.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including:

All traffic encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
Passwords stored using one-way cryptographic hashing — not recoverable even by VDT.
Payment data handled exclusively by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

7. Data Retention

Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
After cancellation: Account data is retained for up to 12 months following subscription cancellation, after which it may be deleted.
Waiver records: Records of your waiver agreement are retained indefinitely for legal compliance purposes.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at support@vandycktraining.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe. Note that waiver agreement records may be retained even after account deletion for legal compliance purposes.

9. Age Restriction

VDT services are intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use of VDT services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
